Blood is a Vital Fluid Of Our Body.
It is a Modified Fluid Connective Tissue Which is Made Of Formed element Cell (45%)And Plasma(55%).


Properties Of Blood:

1. Constant Volume:- Blood Volume Doesn't Depend On Blood Constituent.

2. Colour:- It's Colour is Red Always due to Presence Of Co-ordinate Covalent Bond.

3. pH :- 7.4 ( in veins ) to 7.6 ( in Arteries)

4. Viscosity:- It's Viscosity is more than 5 times Of Purified Water.

5. Specific Gravity:- 1.050 to 1.060

6. It Differentiate between Blood Groups.






✓Formed Element Cells Are (45%):

1. Erythrocytes ( RBC )- 40%

•It Has Highest Density due to Iron.
•BiConcave Shape
• Life Span:- 120 Days


2. Leukocytes ( WBC )- 0.5%

• It is Responsible For Defence And Immunity Of the Body.
• It is Of 2 Types:-
   1. Granulocytes:- Neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils.
   2. Agranulocytes:- Monocytes, Lymphocytes.


3. Thrombocytes ( Platelets )- 4.5%

• size :- 2 to 4 micrometre 
• Life Span :- 8 to 11 Days.

• Albumin ( Maximum )
• Fibrinogen ( Clotting Factor )
• Globulin ( Defence And Immunity )
• Inorganic Salts ( Na+, K+, Ca+2, Po4-2 ,Mg+2, Cl-, HcO3- )
